Jun Carrington, DMD

Dr. Jun Carrington is the founder and lead dentist at Lumin8 Dentistry in Lakewood, WA. Born in Korea, he moved to Tacoma, WA, during his teenage years, earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington, and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Nevada.
Dr. Carrington’s commitment to advancing his clinical skills is reflected in his completion of the rigorous American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) MaxiCourse, one of the most comprehensive implant dentistry training programs available, as well as his extensive coursework at the Kois Center, a research-driven continuing education institution in Seattle that conducts its own independent dental science research. His areas of focus include general dentistry, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Carrington stays active at the gym and loves to travel with his wife whenever they can get away. The two also share a love of cooking, often spending their weekends in the kitchen preparing meals together.
